Vesturdalsa 2004
18. August 2004. Vesturdalsa

It was that time again, Joe had arrived from Charlotte, and I from California as I had moved there in May for work. We headed north east. Lalli had offered us 1 day in Vesturdalsa before we would go to Svalbardsa. We arrived late at night and after eating then Joe sat down with the log book and looked where they had been catching salmon (in Iceland every salmon river has a log book that is returned to organization that keeps track of how the salmon is doing). That night Joe introduced me to Makers Mark and ginger (that's why the photo is skewed...). The salmon on the wall is as I can remember 25pounds and is from Vesturdalsa.

19. August 2004. We fished from 10am and until approx 8pm. I landed one salmon and that was it. It was great seeing the river and it is a fantastic small river with a lot of big salmon.
